Freelancing
- Cold Pitch Message: A short, specific message to a business you would love to work with. Tips: Name one real thing you noticed about their business. Make one small, specific offer rather than "I can do anything". Send ten and expect a few replies. That is normal.
- Simple Project Proposal: One clear page that covers the goal, scope, price, timeline and next step. Tips: List what is NOT included. That is where most arguments start. State revision rounds as a number. Always include a payment schedule, and ask for a deposit.
- Client Onboarding Checklist: Everything to set up before you start working, so projects begin smoothly. Tips: Send it to the client as a welcome message. Do not start until the first three items are ticked.
- Scope Change Request: Reply kindly and firmly when "just one more thing" becomes extra work. Tips: Say yes to the person and name the extra clearly. Give a price and a date so the decision is easy.
- Payment Reminder (3 stages): Three polite-but-firm follow-ups for late invoices, from gentle to final. Tips: Send the first reminder the day after it is due. Always attach the invoice again. Keep a record of every message.
- Rate Increase Email: Raise your price without grovelling. Warm, plain and confident. Tips: Give 30 days notice. Do not apologise for the number. Offer a reduced-scope option if budget is tight.
- Testimonial Request: Ask for a testimonial in a way that makes it easy to say yes. Tips: Ask right after a happy moment. Give two or three prompts so they know what to write.
- Discovery Call Questions: Questions to ask a new client so you scope and price properly. Tips: Tick off the questions as you get answers. Write answers beneath each question in your notes.
- Scope of Work Checklist: Check you have covered everything before you say "yes" to a project. Tips: If you cannot tick it, ask the client. Use it as the structure for your proposal.
- Portfolio Case Study Outline: Turn a project (even a practice one) into a case study that sells your skills. Tips: A practice project is a legitimate case study if you label it honestly. Show your thinking, not just the final result.
Career
- Job Application Tracker: Keep every application, its status and your follow-up dates in one place. Tips: Add a row the same day you apply. Follow up 5 to 7 working days after applying.
- Resume Bullet Rewriter: Turn duties into results using the action + what + outcome formula. Tips: Start with a strong verb. Add a number whenever you honestly can. Never exaggerate. Interviewers will ask about it.
- Salary Negotiation Script: Words for asking for more, whether it is a new offer or your annual review. Tips: Practise out loud once. Anchor with a number, not a feeling. After you ask, stop talking and let them respond.
- Interview Prep Worksheet: Prepare three stories that answer most interview questions. Tips: Use the STAR structure: Situation, Task, Action, Result. Keep each story under two minutes.
- LinkedIn Profile Checklist: A quick audit to make your profile clear and findable. Tips: Fix the headline first. It shows everywhere.
Money
- Income & Expense Tracker: Log money in and money out, and see your totals instantly. Tips: Log it the day it happens. Check the profit line monthly.
- Monthly Money Check-in: Fifteen minutes each month to see what happened and what to do next. Tips: Do it on the same day each month. Keep it kind. The aim is clarity, not guilt.
- 90-Day Money Goal Planner: Turn a money goal into a number per month and a first step. Tips: Choose a goal that is specific and has a date. Make the first step small enough for this week.
Content
- 30-Day Content Planner: Plan a month of posts with a topic, format and status for each day. Tips: Batch your content on one day per week. Repeat what worked.
Business
- Offer Builder: Turn a skill into a clear offer people understand and can buy. Tips: An offer names who it is for and the outcome, not just the activity.
- Business Idea Check: Pressure-test an idea before you spend time or money on it. Tips: If you cannot name ten potential customers, find them first. Look for people who have already paid for something similar.
- Customer Interview Worksheet: Questions that uncover what people really want, without leading them. Tips: Ask about the past, not the future. "Last time you tried X, what happened?" Listen far more than you talk.
